The only exception to this is Tuner Series, Type-A camshafts (for Honda B-series DOHC VTEC) which can be used with the stock valve springs and retainers.
Camshafts for the Mitsubishi 4G63T (Evolution VIII) engines will require the replacement of the factory valve springs and retainers with a heavy duty aftermarket pieces. WHICH ARE THE CORRECT CAMSHAFTS FOR MY APPLICATION?BLOX Racing can recommend profiles based on additional information such as what other parts will be used (forced-induction, nitrous, naturally aspirated), cylinder and block preparation, compression ratio, etc.
BLOX Racing offers many different camshaft profiles, including semi-blank cores. Semi-blank cores, in essence, offers tuners and engine builders a "blank canvas" that can be machined to their own specifications. These will need to be machined by a highly trained or certified machinist.
